BEAUFORT C. “BUCK” KATT
Entered the US Army through the draft for the Korean War. Was commissioned a 2nd Lt Corps of Engineers-rose through the ranks of the officer corps retiring as a colonel regular army after just over thirty years of service. Last assignment was as the Chief of Staff. Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Military education includes the Command and General Staff College, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas and the US Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, PA.
After retirement form the military, positions held include: Vice President, Stephens College, Columbia, Mo. Deputy Director Facilities Management, Division of Design and Construction, State of Mo. and Deputy Director, State Emergency Management Agency, State of Missouri. Civilian education includes Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, St. Benedicts College, Atchison, KS. {Degree awarded Summa Cum Laude}; Master of Science Public Administration, Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA.
Currently employed as the Executive Secretary for the Missouri Watershed Association: also have Disaster Assistance Employee {DAE} status with FEMA, most recent deployment as the Chief of Staff, Joint Field Office, Jefferson City, Mo. for Mo disaster 1822
