Shanna Michael

Ms. Michael is a GIS Analyst for AECOM.  She has worked for AECOM for over 4 years and has experience working with FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program for over 6 years.  Currently Ms. Michael is the HAZUS lead for projects and her primary responsibility has been running a Level 1 analysis for every county located within FEMA Region 1.  Ms Michael’s education background consists of a B.S. in Environmental Science w/ Geology and a separate GIS Certificate.  She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health w/Environmental Health.  Ms. Michael also has experience  working on DFIRM production products as well as levee database work, and various adoption and compliance related tasks.
